The Evolution of Quorum

  • 1987

    Founded as Rank Hotels North America, the company begins as a partnership between its senior executives and The Rank Group, Plc.

    The Brown Palace Hotel becomes the company’s first managed hotel.

  • 1994

    Senior management purchases Rank's interest and introduces the Quorum name.

    Rank Hotels North America becomes Quorum Hotels & Resorts.

    Somera Capital Management acquires Quorum Hotels & Resorts.
